Kyle Thacker is a filmmaker, storyteller, and the founder of Red Dot Video.
He’s spent nearly two decades behind the camera, documenting everything from intimate weddings to big brand stories—but the heart of his work remains the same: capturing real moments that connect people.
Outside of the work he loves, Kyle is a husband to Naomi—they’ve been married since 2020—and in 2025, they welcomed their daughter, Ezra, into the world. Nothing has reshaped how he sees life—or the stories he tells—like holding her for the first time.

Val is a born-and-raised Hoosier with a deep love for movies. When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll probably find him at the theater with his fiancée—they never miss a week. But Val’s passion goes far beyond the screen. He’s endlessly curious about the “how” of filmmaking: from lens choices and sound design to budget-friendly effects, he’s fascinated by the creative process that brings stories to life.
